TPP Secure Pads
A TPP secure pad, containing specially-printed prescription forms, is issued only to those who have registered with the Tracked Prescription Program (TPP) Alberta to prescribe any Type 1 medications monitored by the program.
To receive your initial order of TPP secure prescription pads, you must first register with the program—please see Register to Prescribe. You will be sent a personalized TPP Alberta secure pad within 8-10 business days after registering.

Prescribers are responsible for the safety and security of their pads. For tips or what to do if you experience a lost or stolen pad, please see Pad Forgeries.
Returning TPP pads
TPP pads are tracked, secure documents. Prescribers who are no longer in need of all or part of their forms are responsible for safely returning them to TPP Alberta.
How to return your unused forms:
Void each unused form with a strike-through, or by printing ‘VOID’ on them.
